Oval Gear Flowmeter MOGF Series

FLUIDEX MOGF series are oval gear flowmeters designed for medium flow rates. These flowmeters cover flow rates from 1.0 to 450 LPM (0.26 to 120 US GPM) and are available in four-line sizes: DN15, DN25, DN40, and DN50 (1/2", 1", 1-1/2", and 2"). The MOGF series is available in two materials options for the body: aluminum and stainless steel, and three pressure ratings: standard, intermediate, and high up to 5800 PSI (400 BAR) for meters with electronic registers.

Operation Principle

The MOGF flow meters operate based on the principle of two rotating gears with an oval shape. A fixed amount of liquid passes between the gear teeth and through the meter after each revolution. The flow rate is identified by the number of shaft rotations.
